A new City of Edmonton RS Residential Zoning Bylaw passed City Council, in January 2024 that now allows for up to three story apartment buildings with as many as eight rental units, to be developed on residential lots that are over 600 sq meters. These apartments are now being developed in Aspen Gardens, Royal Gardens and Greenfield, as well as many other neighbourhoods across the City.
